Cascades Inopak Inc. specializes in plastic thermoforming, the process
of softening a plastic sheet under the action of heat then molding it into
the shape of the desired product. The company took flight in
1982.

Cascades Group which currently employs more than 230 workers. It has a business
volume of several million dollars annually and has, in recent years, made notable
headway in the United States. |
The company began with the production of coin wrappers, brand-named
Plastichange®. The product range grew to include packaging
such as Benpac® and a
variety of other food and industrial packaging to respond to the
market’s needs. Situated on Lauzon Street in Drummondville, the 33,000 square
feet plant employs more than 20 workers. The company acquired the
latest equipment - for the purpose of increasing production capacity
while maintaining the highest level of quality. Some of
the materials used in Plastichange’s products are polystyrene(PS), polyvinylchloride (PVC) and
polyethylene terephtalate (PET). |
